Harwood Update Inspection Policy

In line with the current guidance from the Government, and the recent statements from industry leaders we are maintaining our support of the construction sector in general and specifically our clients, by continuing to operate and provide a full building control service, including where essential and safe to do so, site inspections.

We are aware that many sites have closed and those still operating are finding difficulty in sourcing certain materials. Whilst we can appreciate these difficulties we would ask that every effort is maintained to comply with the minimum standards of the Building Regulations and we would ask that you continue to notify us at key stages of the project, ideally providing as much notice as possible when inspections are required.

We are conscious that projects nearing completion, may not able to provide evidence of appropriate testing, certification or commissioning, as a result of other parties not being able to visit the project. Unfortunately, in these cases we will not be able to issue our Final Certificate until these matters are resolved.

During this challenging time for the sector some of our staff may be unavailable, we will ensure that, your project will be dealt with by one of their colleagues.

Communication with us remains as normal and we will take steps to route your enquiry to the relevant person.

If you have any general enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us, by emailing enquiries@harwood.uk.com

or calling 01227 931777, all calls are being diverted to our mobile phones.

Thank you once again for your understanding.
