We’re pleased to share some of our recent project wins across the North of England.

As Harwood has continued to expand across the UK, our Sheffield office has grown from strength to strength, securing building control work across a wide range of sectors. From commercial and healthcare developments to residential schemes and projects supporting the expansion of growing food suppliers, the team is providing building control support across a varied portfolio of work.

Here are just a few of the projects we have recently secured and will be supporting over the coming months.

New Air Ambulance Headquarters, Air Ambulance Service, Lutterworth

Harwood has been appointed to provide building control services for the construction of a new two-storey airbase headquarters for The Air Ambulance Service.

The development will include two helipads, an aircraft hangar, training facilities and incident simulation rooms, alongside welfare facilities for crew members, including bedrooms, rest areas and a gym.

We are proud to support a project that will help The Air Ambulance Service continue delivering vital, life-saving care to communities across the region.

Expansion, HECK! Food Ltd, Kirklington, Bedale

Harwood has been appointed to provide building control services for the expansion of HECK! Food Ltd’s site in Bedale, supporting a new industrial development within North Yorkshire’s food manufacturing sector.

The project will involve the construction of a single-storey cold room extension, incorporating a mezzanine structure, offices and welfare facilities.

We’re pleased to be supporting the company’s continued growth and investment in the local area, ensuring all expansion projects strictly adhere to relevant building regulations and quality standards.

Multi-Storey Van Park, 201 Upwell Street, Sheffield

We’ll be delivering our building control services for a commercial and storage development for Amazon UK Services Ltd.

The project includes the construction of a new multi-storey van park and several ancillary structures, alongside the light refurbishment of an existing industrial unit and associated external works.

Our team is helping to ensure that the new and refurbished elements meet all relevant building regulations throughout the design and construction process.

New GP Surgery, Asda Longsight, Starley Grove, Longsight, Manchester

We’re pleased to support the construction of a new NHS GP surgery at Asda Longsight on Stanley Grove, Manchester.

The development will create a new primary healthcare facility, supporting the delivery of GP and community health services to people across the Longsight area.

Drawing on our experience across the healthcare sector, we’ll provide the expertise to ensure full compliance with regulations.
